Frequently Ask Questions
1) I just got my paycheck and the company changed my time. Are they allowed to do that?
2) We're going to start a new construction job and we will be working 10 hour days, 4 days a week. Rather than work Monday through Thursday, we want to work Tuesday through Friday. Is that a problem?
3) I’m a  laid off 4th year Apprentice. The company I worked for hired a 3rd year apprentice a week after I was laid off. The SA says 4th year apprentices get hired first and here I am still on the bench. What gives?
4) I want to split my vacation up and take a couple of days off  at a time. Can I do that?
5) I see a lot of cab work, motor work, handrail repair, trucks being unloaded, jack holes being drilled and the like being done by people that are not part of our union. Is this right?
